During a laser hair removal treatment, the laser beam emitted will come into contact with the skin and transmit its heat (thermal energy) to the hair bulb, which is causing its destruction. It will prevent hair regrowth and thus permit permanent hair removal.

With its two wavelengths, all skin types can be depilated and on all areas of the body and face.

Treatment location:

All areas of the body and face may be treated after medical examination and advice by your CLEAGE physician.

Duration of the session :

From 15 to 60 minutes, the duration of the session will depend on the chosen indication (hair removal, rosacea treatment, leg spider vein treatment) and the treatment area.

Technique:

Laser hair removal:

Before starting the laser treatment, the aesthetic doctor will examine your skin in order to eliminate certain temporary contraindications preventing the laser session (tanning before the session, wound, waxing or electric depilator...)

The handpiece is placed on the area to be treated and a laser shot is then performed. The patient should feel a "rubber band" sensation, which justifies its effectiveness.

A slight redness and a slight swelling in reaction to the laser shot are observed. These are transitory and disappear very quickly in 24 to 48 hours.

The hairs are eliminated during the session or capture the energy delivered by the laser beam, continue to grow and fall out 2 to 3 weeks after the session.

The number of sessions, between 6 and 10, will depend on the area treated and your skin and hair type.

Rosacea: LUTRONIC's Clarity II Nd Yag laser treatment will treat all forms of rosacea by reducing the size of the anarchic vessels present.

2 to 4 sessions are necessary depending on the severity and stage of the rosacea.

A transient redness after the laser for 3 to 4 days and a slight swelling will be present and will disappear progressively and spontaneously to leave a healthy and radiant skin.

Leg varicosities: The CLARITY II laser from LUTRONIC is an essential reference in the treatment of varicosities of the lower limbs. This laser will make superficial veins disappear in a painless way. Several sessions are generally necessary.

This will depend on the size and number of spider veins present on the lower limbs. The results appear immediately or a few days later depending on the type of spider veins. The session is made perfectly comfortable because of the cold air pulsed continuously on the skin, creating a local anesthesia.

To begin definitive hair removal with the CLARITY II laser, the patient must complete the puberty phase (18 to 19 years old on average) to ensure hormonal balance.
Fluctuations in hormone secretion that are still present may indeed diminish the effectiveness of medical hair removal lasers due to the strong influence of hormones on hair growth.




The treatment of rosacea (or erythro-couperose) and varicosities of the lower limbs by a laser can be undertaken from the age of 18.

Laser hair removal:

At the end of the protocol, more than 95% of the hair is permanently removed. One or two annual maintenance sessions are required afterwards to maintain the results.

Rosacea :

A transient post-laser redness for 3 to 4 days and a slight swelling will be present and will disappear progressively and spontaneously to make way for a healthy and glowing skin.

Leg varicosities:

Results appear immediately or a few days later depending on the type of spider veins.

Side effects :

Hypo or hyperpigmentation spots, even burning in case of tanning or photo-sensitizing treatments.

Contraindications :

• pregnancy;
• breast-feeding;
• photo-sensitizing treatments (isotretinoin, antibiotics, immunosuppressants, etc.);
  retinol or retinoic acid cream;
• recent tanning (less than 15 days);
• tattooing on the treatment area.
