DARE TO SHOW OFF YOUR CLEAVAGE
The breast lift or mastopexy is a surgical technique to treat sagging skin of the breast.
This procedure can be combined with a breast augmentation by breast prosthesis, Bio-Lifting or lipofiling for a global treatment of the décolleté.
With time and aggravated by weight variations, the breast undergoes important aesthetic changes.
There is a global slackening of the skin (associated with important dermal fractures such as stretch marks), resulting in a lack of support for the breasts.
In addition, a decrease in breast volume occurs, linked to a progressive involution of the mammary gland. A smaller cleavage appears, lacking support and giving the appearance of sagging breasts.
During a consultation at the CLEAGE center, the surgeon will detail the entire procedure, the aftermath and the expected results. A precise protocol will be given to you and measurements and photographs will be taken.
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and lasts an average of 2 hours.
The objective is to create a tightening effect that will allow the natural support of the décolleté. To obtain a harmonious décolleté, the breast lift is often associated with a correction of the volume of the breasts by breast prosthesis, Bio-Lifting or by lipofiling technique. The latter consists of removing the patient's fat by liposuction (with the benefit of refining the figure) during the same surgical procedure. The fat is then subtly reinjected into the breast to restore the breast volume lost over time.
The choice of the breast augmentation technique will be made during the consultation with the CLEAGE surgeons.
Treatments are generally performed on an outpatient basis, allowing the patient to leave the hospital on the day of the procedure. However, an overnight stay under clinical supervision may be necessary for better comfort.
The tightening of the décolleté, associated with an increase in breast volume in the case of the lipofiling technique, is observed by the patient the next day.
The after-effects are marked by the presence of bruises and swelling that gradually disappear after 2 weeks.
A postoperative follow-up consultation with the surgeon is scheduled 2 weeks after the procedure to check the results (final at 3 months) and the after-effects.
It is recommended to stop practicing sports for 6 weeks, as well as to stop working for 2 weeks.
